The Important of the Research Design and Planning Phase

On Behalf of the author of this topic entitled Research Design by John W. Creswell and published by Sage in 2013. John W. Creswell is a professor of educational psychology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln on which really gives me a hand to understood this study. A good quote says; “think before you click”, I think this is the best thing to define this important topic that I ‘am going to discuss here. So let’s get started, I know some of us have taken a stab at these already, but in case you haven’t, this is a real personalized map that relates you project to goals. It’s a writing process of how you’re going to go about doing your research
At this juncture, we're gonna talk about the importance of a research design and planning phase. I see that We have to knock out this important topic because we need to put a little time and effort into the beginning. And, making it more visible, so it’s not a document that sits around once a year you pull it out & look at it. And I feel that it does serve multiple purposes, with different length & different amounts of detail. Why do we want to do a research design and planning phase? In my opinion, the big thing is vision. Because According to John W. Creswell discussed the line of the research design sets the parameters of the project; it determines exactly what will and will not be included. It also defines the criteria by which will evaluate results and draw conclusions.
Most of us are at the stage in the starting line where maybe you have started with that you want to change the world scenario and realized that whatever you wanted your first research project to be, really, is your entire goal. Well, the point where it is a manageable project that you can do- this is where you map out what those projects are set reasonable timelines for that you want to really demonstrate, According to John W. Creswell the reliability and validity of a study depends on how one collects, measure, analyze, and interpret data. – Yes yeah agree with this because first and foremost this is where we come in. The next point is to be a practical cause of how long it takes to achieve each goal this for most of us is a remarkably challenging thing to do. Usually, most of us are exaggerated what we can do in a short amount of time, so we acquire skill in a difficult way that we cant, and that another reason why we keep coming back to these plans repeatedly and learning over time what is really manageable, what is really feasible, so we can still reach our goals and be very strategic about we do that.
Consequently, What if you are not strategic. Well, all I can say that it is hard for you to meet your goals. Your time gets to pull down into many different things. We need to be really practical and strategic. We should be straightforward with ourselves about the proper role of the research in our lives. All of the novices obviously have research as a primary role in their lives, or they wouldn’t be there. But not all of us are very high-level research universities because most of us have chosen to go elsewhere, where research maybe it is not easy going to be playing the same role as it is for the other people. Therefore I conclude that our research plan may not look like the same plan or the mentor who is sitting across from you. So I would like want to say that we should make sure that why your setting out for our self really makes sense for us and practical for us given the role that research has in our life. In this process of research, someone of an R one research-intensive university is going to look quite different from someone who is at a primary teaching university. We need to be open-minded and practical about that.
